Michael Oher isn't giving up on his NFL career.
The free-agent offensive tackle recently visited with the Carolina Panthers just weeks after he was waived with an injury designation by the Titans, per The Baltimore Sun.
Oher was let go in Tennesseee after just one season of the four-year, $20 million deal he inked with the Titans last March. The man whose story was used as the basis for "The Blind Side" played 11 games at right tackle for Tennessee after starting all 80 games over five seasons with the Ravens, who grabbed him in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
With left tackle Byron Bell out the door and Mike Remmers a project, the Panthers need help at the tackle position. Oher, though, would serve as nothing more than a stopgap. He struggled mightily last season while failing to catch on with one of the NFL's least-talented rosters.
The Panthers remain a strong candidate to seek O-line help in April's draft.
