Maria Menounos is worthy of your respect.
The "Extra" co-host is a real-deal Patriots fan, having attended every Super Bowl in the Tom Brady/Bill Belichick era. She was feeling confident the Pats would capture their fourth title on Sunday, so confident she bet an "Extra" colleague A.J. Calloway she'd don a Giants bikini in Times Square if they didn't get it done.
The Patriots didn't get it done. Menounos lost. So many others won.
"Just finished self tanning," she tweeted Sunday night. "Lost the bet with @ajcalloway and now have to wear a giants bikini in ny. Loss was devastating today."
One day later, she was in Manhattan, making it clear she wasn't one to "welch" on a bet. Menounos dropped her white robe to fulfill the terms of the deal with Calloway and was embraced by "Extra" co-host Mario Lopez.
Lopez later tweeted: "My girl @mariamenounos lost a Super Bowl bet & had to wear a NY Giants bikini! Big props..Look great."
Smooth stuff from A.C. Slater, though everyone knows Zack Morris would've one-upped him ... probably by stopping time. Yeah, definitely by stopping time.
