McClain expected to play for Raiders; Huff ruled out

Oakland linebacker Rolando McClain will play Thursday night against the San Diego Chargers, according to a Raiders' team source.

McClain suffered an ankle injury during the Raiders' Week 7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and sat out the Raiders' loss to the Denver Broncos this past Sunday following the team's bye week. McClain has 43 tackles and a sack in seven games this season.

Safety Michael Huff has been ruled out because of his ankle injury, according to Raiders coach Hue Jackson.

Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski (hamstring) and defensive end Richard Seymour (ankle) will play. Both were listed as questionable.

Jackson said Janikowski, who only took a few warmup kicks before the game, is still bothered by the hamstring injury in his kicking leg. Jackson said he might not push Janikowski to attempt any long field goals so as not to risk further damage.

The Chargers ruled out wide receiver Malcom Floyd (hip) and linebacker Shaun Phillips (foot), who were both listed as doubtful.
