Marcus Peters on strip of Benjamin: I took it from him

The Kansas City Chiefs overcame a 17-0 deficit to beat the Carolina Panthers 20-17, in Charlotte, on a Cairo Santos last-second field goal.

The 37-yard game-winning field goal was set up by an incredible strip by Chiefs corner Marcus Peters. The stud defensive back ripped the ball out of Kelvin Benjamin's hands with 20 seconds remaining in the game.

"I took it from him," Peters said after the game, per Black and Blue Review. "You know how you go to the store and you want something and your momma tells you, you can't have it?"

The Chiefs' defense shut out Cam Newton and the Panthers in the second half, forcing three punts, an Eric Berry pick-six and Peters' strip.

"When it's all said and done, Eric Berry and Marcus Peters, the defense stepped up today," coach Andy Reid said.

The win marked the Chiefs' second comeback victory of 17 points or more (Week 1 vs. San Diego). The rest of the NFL has two such wins, per NFL Research.
