The rehabilitative road to recovery for Malik Nabers will begin later this week.
The New York Giants' standout wide receiver is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair his torn ACL and meniscus this week, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday on NFL GameDay Morning.
Nabers, who suffered the non-contact knee injury on Sept. 28, required one month of "pre-hab" for his knee -- a common process where the players strengthen and stretch the area around the knee to make the rehab better after they undergo surgery, per Rapoport.
Rapoport adds that Nabers is expected to be ready for the 2026 season.
Losing Nabers was a big blow to what was a rough start to the 2025 season in New York, but the tide has turned since rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart took the helm.
Adding Nabers to the mix will only further the Giants' long-awaited revival, but first the 22-year-old will need to get his knee fully healthy.
