Lions sell out Thanksgiving Day game against Packers

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions have sold out the Thanksgiving game against Green Bay, avoiding a local TV blackout.

Lions spokesman Bill Keenist confirmed the sellout Monday, one day after Detroit won its second game of the season on the final play for a 38-37 victory over the Browns.

The thriller was not shown on local TV and drew 43,170 fans to Ford Field. Detroit sold out two of its first five home games this season.
