Kid Rock will headline the 2012 United Way Thanksgiving Halftime Show of the Detroit Lions' 73rd Thanksgiving Day Classic against the Houston Texans, the team announced.
The Michigan native will feature a song from his new album titled "Rebel Soul." The song is aptly titled "Detroit, Michigan."
Kid Rock also is a featured performer in Pepsi's NFL anthems. The Pepsi NFL anthems program features major recording artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Travie McCoy and Aerosmith singing about their favorite teams.
