Now, with the help of an airplane and a professionally produced video, kicker Quinn Nordin announced his commitment to Penn State.

Hey, the kids might be out of control with these commitment announcements, but at least the tired old "hat switch" method has been left behind in favor of some creativity. Nordin, of Rockford, Mich., is ranked as the No. 1 kicker in the nation, according to 247Sports, and his scholarship offers ranged from Arizona State to Michigan to Georgia. The Nittany Lions also have a commitment from the nation's No. 1-ranked punter, Blake Gillikin of Atlanta.
