KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Veteran offensive tackle Ray Willis has told the Kansas City Chiefs that he's retiring.
The Chiefs announced Willis' decision Friday.
The Chiefs now have four offensive tackles on their roster: Donald Stephenson, David Mims, Eric Winston and Branden Albert.
Willis made 26 starts and played in 44 games in five seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, where he had the most success. He had bounced through the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints and New York Jets over the past couple years before signing with the Chiefs for training camp.
Willis joined the NFL as a fourth-round draft pick by the Seahawks in 2005.
