Jordyn Adams, Greg Emerson announce commitments

NFL Network is at Nike's The Opening, a camp for the nation's top high school football prospects, and some of those players are making big decisions on this holiday weekend.

Surrounded by family, Jordyn Adams kicked things off on NFL Total Access by using a pair of receiver gloves with North Carolina's logo to announce he was committing to becoming a Tar Heel. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound receiver from Green Hope High School (Cary, North Carolina) is a four-star recruit (composite score of 0.9407 by 247 Sports) who chose UNC over Clemson. Adams , who is an assistant at East Carolina University. Adams has one more season of high school football remaining before he will sign and be off to college.

Greg Emerson, sidelined by an ankle injury, joined the Total Access crew of Rhett Lewis and Daniel Jeremiah to discuss the camp and his setback before announcing that he intends to attend Tennessee in 2018. The four-star defensive end from North Side High School (Jackson, Tennessee) made his selection from a final six group of Oregon, Tennessee, Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and Ole Miss, though it should be mentioned that he said he'd "probably" be attending Tennessee in his Monday appearance.

Both Adams and Emerson are among the more than 400 nominees for 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl selection.
