Joe Flacco in favor of any kind of drug testing in NFL

After Major League Baseball suspended 13 players for violating its rules against performance-enhancing drugs, PED use in sports once again is a hot topic. That topic touched football last week when Baltimore Ravens cornerback Asa Jackson was banned for eight games after running afoul of the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.

Jackson's teammate, quarterback Joe Flacco, spoke his mind on the subject Tuesday, telling BaltimoreRavens.com that he'd welcome any type of drug testing the league would consider.

The NFL and NFL Players Association currently are negotiating a method and timeline in which to begin HGH testing.
