James Jones is sticking to his prediction.
The Green Bay Packers wide receiver told Around The League's Dan Hanzus in February that his team could produce a trio of 1,000-yard receivers this coming season. Asked about it again this week, Jones didn't back down.
"I do, I do," Jones told the Green Bay Press Gazette. "I've been on record as saying that I believe we have three 1,000-yard receivers in this room. I believe me, Randall (Cobb) and Jordy (Nelson), if we all stay healthy, we can all reach over 1,000."

Aaron Rodgers makes all things possible, but this never has been done in team history.
Granted, Cobb has emerged as one of the NFL's most dynamic playmakers and came within 50 yards of the 1,000-yard mark last season. Nelson notched 1,263 yards in 2011 and Jones -- entering a contract year -- will have a healthy opportunity to improve on last season's 784-yard total. Still, we don't see this happening.
This year's Packers team brings a fresh commitment to the run game. Rookie running backs Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin add a new dimension to the Packers' offense after years of a one-sided attack.
The Packers will be a better team if a portion of the gaudy passing stats are replaced by a more balanced scheme that keeps defenses guessing.
