Jacksonville man pleads guilty to stabbing Bears fan to death

A Jacksonville man pleaded guilty Tuesday to second-degree murder in the 2012 killing of a Chicago man before a Chicago Bears-Jacksonville Jaguars game.

Matthew Reid Hinson now faces 20 years to life in prison for killing William C. "Chris" Pettry, 42, when he is sentenced at a later date by Circuit Judge Suzanne Bass, The Florida Times-Union reported.

Hinson slashed Pettry's neck with a pocket knife at Fionn MacCool's, a Jacksonville bar, in October.
