Injuries: Justin Houston (knee) expected to sit Sunday

Kansas City Chiefs pass rusher Justin Houston made his long-awaited return to the practice field this week, but his return to game action likely won't come on Sunday.

NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Houston is expected to sit against the Oakland Raiders after being listed as questionable on the Chiefs' injury report.

Houston, who signed a six-year, $101 million deal this offseason, suffered a hyperextended knee on Nov. 29 against the Buffalo Bills and was forced out of the last four games. He still leads the Chiefs with 7.5 sacks despite the missed action.

Here are other injuries we are tracking Sunday:

  1. Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola (knee) is active for Sunday's tilt against the Dolphins.
  1. Jets running back Bilal Powell (ankle) won't play against the Bills.
  1. Saints offensive tackle Terron Armstead (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
  1. Eddie Royal (illness), tight end Zach Miller (toe) and center Hroniss Grasu (knee) won't play Sunday for the Bears.
  1. Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant (illness) will play against the Browns on Sunday.
  1. Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee (hamstring) is out for the season finale against the Redskins.
