How to travel to Olympiastadion Berlin 

The best way to travel to the Olympiastadion Berlin on Gameday is via use of public transportation, leaving only a short walk to the stadium gates. A detailed description can be found below.

Underground/ U-Bahn: The underground train (U-Bahn) U2 takes you directly to the station Olympiastadion. It’s only a short walk from there to the stadium (East Gate entrance: 500m, South Gate entrance: 870m).

  • 2 minutes from U-Bahn station Ruhleben
  • 13 minutes from U-Bahn station Zoologischer Garten
  • 25 minutes from U-Bahn station Potsdamer Platz
  • 36 minutes from U-Bahn station Alexanderplatz

Overground/ S-Bahn:

The above ground train (S-Bahn) S9 take you directly to the station Olympiastadion. It’s
only a short walk from there to the stadium (South Gate entrance via exit Flatowallee: 200m, EastGate entrance via exit Trakehner Allee: 250m).

  • 7 minutes from S-Bahn station Spandau
  • 14 minutes from S-Bahn station Zoologischer Garten
  • 23 minutes from S-Bahn station Friedrichstraße
  • 26 minutes from S-Bahn station Alexanderplatz

Bus: With the bus lines M49 or 218 you can reach the stop Flatowallee. It’s only a short walk from there to the stadium. With the bus line 143 you can reach the underground station Neu-Westend. From there you can either walk directly to the stadium or take the underground train and exit at the station Olympiastadion.
