Getting To The Bernabeu On Gameday
The Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid is centrally located and very well connected. Using the Metro could be the easiest and most efficient form of travel. However, there are multiple ways to get there from within Madrid:
Metro (Subway)
- Line 10 (Dark Blue) – Get off at **“Santiago Bernabéu”** station.
- The station exits directly at the stadium – super convenient.
- Runs frequently from early morning to midnight (later on weekends).
Ideal if you’re coming from:
- Sol (Line 1 to Tribunal or Line 2 to Noviciado, transfer to Line 10)
- Gran Vía or Callao (Line 5 to Alonso Martínez, transfer to Line 10)
City Bus (EMT Madrid)
Several buses stop near the stadium. Most relevant routes:
- Lines 14, 27, 40, 43, 120, 126, 147, and 150
- Stop at or near Paseo de la Castellana, Plaza de Lima, or Avenida Concha Espina, where the stadium is located.
Use the EMT Madrid app or Google Maps for real-time routes.
Cercanías (Commuter Train)
Can be an efficient way if the Metro is crowded.
- Nearest station: Nuevos Ministerios (Lines C1, C2, C3, C3a, C4a, C4b, C7, C8, and C10)
- Then walk ~15 minutes or take Metro Line 10 (1 stop to Santiago Bernabéu)

Walking
If you're staying near the Stadium (Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios, Tetuán)
- It’s a 10-20 minute walk.
If you’re staying centrally (Chamberí, Salamanca, Chueca, or Retiro):
- It’s a 60 minute walk from Puerta del Sol or Gran Vía.
