Georgia WR Green says he plans to attend NFL draft

Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green confirmed his plans to attend the NFL draft, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Thursday.

"It's getting closer to the draft, and I just sent some pictures to my mom of some suits that I bought," Green told the newspaper. "I'm going to New York. I know I'm going to have a great time."

Green played 32 games in his career with the Bulldogs and caught 166 passes for 2,619 yards and 23 touchdowns. He's considered by some to be the top receiver prospect in this year's draft class.

Green is the 10th player to accept a invitation to the draft, which is scheduled for April 28-30 at New York's Radio City Music Hall. UCLA linebacker Akeem Ayers, Iowa defensive end Adrian Clayborn, Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones, Purdue defensive end Ryan Kerrigan, Illinois defensive tackle Corey Liuget, Texas A&M linebacker Von Miller, LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson, USC offensive tackle Tyron Smith and Virginia Tech running back Ryan Williams also plan to attend.
