Aaron Murray was taken to the hospital to have an injured knee examined, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and it remains to be seen whether Georgia's fifth-year senior star ever suits up for the Bulldogs again.
Murray, among the top quarterbacks available for next spring's NFL draft, injured his left knee late in the second quarter and did not return while being pressured by Kentucky defensive end Za'Darius Smith. Murray ranks as the No. 17 senior available in the draft, according to the Hot 100 Seniors list of NFL Media's Gil Brandt.
Georgia officials have yet to update his status. Murray had thrown for four touchdowns and nearly 200 yards already in the Bulldogs' 59-17 thrashing of the Wildcats.
Murray is the SEC's all-time leading passer with 13,166 yards, a mark which may have to stand if Murray can't play next week against rival Georgia Tech, or in a bowl game.
