The organization showed interest in Rolando McClain, but NFL.com's Albert Breer reported the Baltimore Ravens are close to signing the former Oakland Raiders linebacker.
Dansby became expendable when the Miami Dolphins signed Dannell Ellerbe. There hasn't been a ton of interest for the 31-year-old. The Bengals probably can sign him on the cheap right now.
The Bengalsre-signed Rey Maualuga, but they still need help at linebacker. Outside linebacker Manny Lawson signed with the Billslast month.
