Eric Berry's interception inspires Chiefs to win

Eric Berry's triumph story continues to get better.

The Chiefs safety recorded his first interception on Sunday since beating Hodgkin's Lymphoma and the turnover lifted his team to a much-needed win against the Steelers.

A diving Berry completed the interception after Antonio Brown lost the ball trying to complete a slant route in the third quarter.

"I've been planning that one out for a long time," Berry said, via the Kansas City Star. "I'm just glad I could actually use it."

The Chiefs bombarded Berry to congratulate him on the play and made sure his interception was not wasted.

The inspired Chiefs went 53 yards on nine plays to score their first touchdown of the game and took a 16-3 lead. Kansas City broke a five-game losing streak.

Berry is back to his usual dominant self. Around The NFL's Chris Wesseling rightfully has Berry leading his Comeback Player of the Year list.

It's astonishing that Berry returned to football from cancer and he continues to inspire many people on and off the field by playing at a high level.
