IRVING, Texas -- Matt Eberflus is following Rob Ryan to the Dallas Cowboys.
Eberflus was hired Monday as linebackers coach of the Cowboys, keeping the same job he held with the Cleveland Browns the last two seasons. Ryan was the defensive coordinator in Cleveland during that time, and now he's the defensive coordinator in Dallas.
Before joining the NFL in 2009, Eberflus spent 17 years as a college coach.
In 2010, four of Cleveland's linebackers finished among the top 10 in the NFL in tackles.
