Dez Bryant off to slow start with Dallas Cowboys

Dez Bryant is off to a slow start. The Dallas Cowboys star receiver caught three passes for 17 yards in the 27-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. He dropped two passes and muffed a punt.

"Not a setback at all," Bryant told ESPN Dallas/Fort Worth. "I'm just going in and learning from the mistakes and going on to the next game."

Bryant seemed to regress from an average opener in which he caught four balls for 85 yards, including a 38-yarder. He has yet to find the end zone.

"You can say that there was frustration," Bryant said. "It's all about, really today, it was all about getting over it and seeing if we can move on from it. But it was tough times in this game and we've just got to put it behind us and move forward."

None of the Cowboys exactly lit the world on fire. Quarterback Tony Romo and running back DeMarco Murray left much to be desired in their play, also.

Through two weeks, we just don't know which Bryant or which Cowboys we'll see on a regular basis. But the Cowboys need to Bryant to regain his touchdown scoring ways if they truly plan to compete for the top of the NFC East.
