Former Titans defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson being hired as Giants DC

John Harbaugh's New York Giants coaching staff is quickly taking shape.

Former Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson is being hired as the Giants' DC, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero reported on Sunday.

Wilson, 43, was Tennessee's DC the past two years, but he was not retained by new Titans head coach Robert Saleh. Wilson has ties to Harbaugh, having served as the defensive backs coach in Baltimore in 2023, when the Ravens finished sixth in the NFL in pass defense and Kyle Hamilton earned his first Pro Bowl invitation.

Earlier Sunday, Pelissero reported that the Giants are hiring former Ravens special teams coordinator Chris Horton as the Big Blue ST coordinator and assistant head coach.
