Hixon and Diehl add to the Giants' injury woes. Starting running back Ahmad Bradshaw also will not return after being taken for X-rays on his neck.

Diehl got up slowly after being caught in a pile and appeared to have suffered an injury to his right knee. He walked off the field under his own power and was evaluated on the sideline.

Will Beatty later took over at left tackle, and Kevin Boothe was moved back to left guard, with Sean Locklear at right tackle.

Diehl later was escorted to the locker room, where the Giants ruled that he would not return.

Hixon suffered a concussion after taking a hard helmet-to-helmet hit from linebacker Mason Foster following a 12-yard catch to the Bucs' 4. He had one catch for 12 yards.
