Chris Johnson trolls Rich Eisen on Twitter over 40 times

Nothing screams NFL offseason like a little friendly trash talk between an NFL player and an NFL analyst on social media.

On Saturday at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine the wide receivers were set to run the 40-yard dash, with several youngsters including Miami wideout Phillip Dorsett having the potential to break Chris Johnson's combine record of 4.24 seconds. NFL Network's Rich Eisen lobbed a friendly reminder to Chris Johnson via Twitter to get the ball rolling.

It didn't take Johnson too long to fire back at Eisen, presumably after he woke up on a chilly Saturday morning. Clearly, Johnson wasn't scared of his record being broken, either, and for good reason. None of the early dashers game that close (Dorsett had an unofficial time of 4.33 seconds, almost a full tenth of a second slower than Johnson).

This minor exchange was all in good fun, but highlights how this is one of the slower parts of the NFL offseason. It won't last long, however, as once the combine comes to a close the freight train to the 2015 NFL Draft leaves the station and will only pick up steam as time goes on.

Hopefully you're as eager as we are to hop on board and get roaring to the 2015 NFL season.
