Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (foot) questionable for second week in a row

Kyler Murray's playing status is going to be up in the air beyond Friday for a second week in a row.

Murray is questionable for the Cardinals’ Week 7 game at home against the Green Bay Packers. Jacoby Brissett would get the starting nod should Murray be unable to go.

Murray's dealing with a foot injury that had him questionable last week, as well. He ended up getting ruled out, ceding the reins to Brissett.

Week 9 is Arizona's bye, so Murray could rest up for three straight weeks since he was injured in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans.

The Cardinals are 4-19 without Murray as the starter since they selected him No. 1 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. That tally includes last week's 31-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. However, Brissett led the Cards to season highs in points (tied with their Week 2 win) and yards (400).

Brissett threw for 320 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

The Cardinals (2-4) host the Packers (3-1-1) at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.
