Can't-Miss Plays: Run for it

Whether you are a linebacker, offensive lineman or running back, there is one constant amongst all positions in the game of football: running. Here are 10 of the best examples from 2007.

What's better than getting a first down on a fourth-and-short? Taking the play all the way for a score as Dallas' Marion Barber did in Week 1.
   In Week 2,
Frank Gore sheds tacklers, then makes a wicked cutback to complete a 43-yard touchdown run vs. the
  Rams.
   In Week 4,
Raiders defender B.J. Ward learned a tough lesson the hard way: Stay out of
  Ronnie Brown's way.

Tony Romo calls the "Snap the ball over my head, then I'll pick it up and run for a first down" play win Week 4 against the Rams.

   This 67-yard touchdown by
Vikings RB Adrian Peterson's was just one of three the rookie scored in a 224-yard performance vs. the
  Bears in Week 6.
   Just when the
Patriots thought they had Marion Barber wrapped up for an embarrassing safety, the RB saved the play with a crafty run.

Bills RB Marshawn Lynch sheds three tacklers on a game-clinching 56-yard touchdown run against the Bengals in Week 9.

In the box score, it simply goes as an 8-yard touchdown run for Minnesota's Chester Taylor, but there's video evidence that it was much more than that.
   After missing two games,
Adrian Peterson had a glorious return, scoring two TDs in a week 13
  Vikings' rout of the
  Lions, including this 13-yard jaunt.
With the game on the line vs. the
  Jets,
Browns RB Jamal Lewis plowed through the
Jets defense for a bruising 31-yard touchdown run.
