Bucs to practice Saturday night at USF

Jameis Winston's first training camp practice as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' starting quarterback is put on hold.

The team announced that due to weather conditions, Saturday's open practice at One Buc Place has been cancelled. The Bucs might still conduct a workout at an alternate location later this evening, weather permitting, but it would not be open to the public.

The Bucs initially postponed the start of practice until 5 p.m. ET in hopes that the inclement weather would blow through. In the end, Mother Nature wouldn't cooperate.

As you can see from this video of NFL Media's Jeff Darlington, the rain blowing through the Tampa area is no joke:

The team will hold its first practice of training camp open to the public on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET.

UPDATE: The Bucs will get to practice tonight after all. Tampa is moving its session to the nearby University of South Florida.
