New head coach Todd Monken and the Cleveland Browns have hired Baltimore Ravens run game coordinator Travis Switzer to be their offensive coordinator, the team announced Friday.
Cleveland also announced the official hires of defensive coordinator Mike Rutenberg and special teams coordinator Byron Storer. Rutenberg's hire was initially reported on Feb. 16.
Switzer spent nine seasons with the Ravens, including the last three while Monken served as Baltimore’s offensive coordinator.
Just 33, Switzer already has a wealth of experience considering he became a Ravens administrative assistant in 2017 before working his way into becoming a run game coordinator. His efforts were highlight by a 2024 campaign in which Derrick Henry won the AFC rushing title.
Cleveland’s rushing offense was 27th in yards in 2025, while Baltimore’s was second.
Monken and the Browns are hoping Switzer can help rev up the run game upon his arrival.
