Brett Hundley can send Heisman stock soaring in next two weeks

Two weeks from now, we'll either be talking about Brett Hundley pushing for Heisman-frontrunner status or discussing him as a one-time contender who didn't quite measure up.

The next two games will make or break the Bruins' season -- Hundley will lead the team on the road Saturday to face a hungry No. 13 Stanford team coming off a stunning upset loss to Utah. A week later, UCLA visits No. 2 Oregon.

Hundley is well aware of what is on the line.

"These games are where you leave your legacy, where that Heisman talk will start," he said, according to the Los Angeles Times.

UCLA's redshirt sophomore QB is on the fringe of the Heisman race heading into Saturday's game. Hundley threw for a career-high 410 yards last week in a win over Cal, but there were some flaws in his performance. He'll have to raise his game in the next two weeks if he wants to put himself in the discussion with the likes of Johnny Manziel, Marcus Mariota and Tajh Boyd.
