Bills to sign kicker Rayner with Lindell to miss 4-6 weeks

The Buffalo Bills are expected to sign kicker Dave Rayner to replace injured Rian Lindell, according to a league source.

Rayner, who kicked for the Oakland Raiders a few weeks back, is taking a physical for the Bills, who had Rayner, Rhys Lloyd, Shayne Graham and Brandon Coutu in for a workout.

The Buffalo News reported Monday that Lindell likely will miss four to six weeks with a shoulder injury. Bills coach Chan Gailey said Monday that Lindell's injury was "not good," and he either broke something or nearly had his shoulder pop out during the Bills' loss to the New York Jets.
