Going full speed ahead, as has been emblematic of his career, Josh Allen reached a milestone marker Thursday.
Allen notched his 200th career touchdown pass in the Buffalo Bills’ 31-21 win over the Miami Dolphins, tying for the sixth-fastest player in NFL history to do so.
Playing in his 114th career game, Allen’s road to 200 touchdown passes came quicker than anyone but arch-frenemy Patrick Mahomes (84 games), Hall of Famer Dan Marino (89), Aaron Rodgers (99), Hall of Famer Peyton Manning (106) and Hall of Famer Brett Favre. He tied current players Kirk Cousins, Dak Prescott and Russell Wilson.
Allen, 29, entered Thursday needing three TDs to hit 200 and got them with scoring passes to Dalton Kincaid, Jackson Hawes and Khalil Shakir, who caught TD No. 200 in the fourth quarter. His touchdown pass to Kincaid was his 300th total (passing and rushing) TD, including the playoffs.
It's not all that surprising that Allen had a highlight-filled evening against the Dolphins. He's tallied 45 total TDs, with 40 passing scores, in 15 games against Miami -- both his most against any opponent -- and is 13-2 (8-0 at home).
In 2024, Allen won his first AP NFL Most Valuable Player. The three-time Pro Bowler began his 2025 campaign by engineering a spectacular comeback win over the Baltimore Ravens, and now he's hit a milestone.
Allen just keeps piling up the accolades and accomplishments, and we’re only three weeks into the season and 114 games into a stellar career.
