Bears QB Caleb Williams' four-TD game vs. Cowboys earns Chicago fans free hot dogs

Caleb Williams' four-touchdown day in a 31-14 demolition of the Dallas Cowboys will get Chicago Bears fans free hot dogs on Tuesday.

Ahead of Sunday’s showdown with the Cowboys, "The Wieners Circle," a Lincoln Park neighborhood hot-dog stand known for serving their tubed meats with a “side of insults,” said they’d give out free dogs if Williams tossed a quartet of TDs.

Asked about making that promise come to fruition after the game, Williams said he’d heard about the social media post.

“Congrats, everybody,” Williams said, via the Chicago Sun-Times. “Enjoy the hot dogs.”

After a sluggish start to the season, Williams showed his upside in Ben Johnson’s offense. The second-year quarterback tied his career high with four passing TDs and set new career highs with 10.6 pass yards/attempt and a 142.6 passer rating in Week 3. On a well-timed first-quarter flea flicker, Williams launched a perfect bomb to rookie Luther Burden III for a 65-yard TD to notch a 14-3 lead, and the Bears never looked back.

Facing a limp Cowboys defense, Williams did not take a sack in a game for the first time in his NFL career -- sacked 68 times in 2024 (tied for third-most in a season all-time). For the afternoon, Williams went 19 of 28 for 298 yards with the four TDs to four different targets: Rome Odunze, DJ Moore, Burden and tight end Cole Kmet.
