Will Adrian Peterson show up for Vikings' workouts?

Offseason workouts for many teams are set to begin on Monday.

Don't expect Adrian Peterson to take part in the Minnesota Vikings' activities.

When Peterson was reinstated from the Commissioner's exempt list on Thursday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that while the running back showed up last year for voluntary conditioning, it's something he almost never does and isn't likely to take part this year following the contentious past few months.

This is no normal year for Peterson after he missed all but one game in 2014.

Those currently working out with Peterson in Texas, like Houston Texans running back Alfred Blue, believe the runner is ready to "show the world" after going through a rough season off the field.

Peterson's camp wants out of Minnesota, so showing up for voluntary workouts doesn't mesh with that effort. Ahead of the NFL Draft on April 30, we'll hear much more about Peterson's future. Just don't expect any of those words to be about Peterson working with teammates at the Vikings' facility.
