Teddy Bridgewater (ankle) misses practice for Vikings

The rookie quarterback suffered a left ankle sprain in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 41-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons. An MRI on the ankle Monday came back negative.

Teddy Two Gloves said he feels much better after receiving treatment.

"We have a long time until Thursday, so I just want to continue to rehab, do a little excising today and see where I am these next couple of days," Bridgewater said prior to missing practice, per the Minnesota Star Tribune.

The Vikings are hopeful the quarterback will be able to take part in Wednesday's jog through.

If the rookie who threw for 317 yards and ran for a touchdown in his first career start can't play against the Packers, former first-round pick Christian Ponder will run the show.
