Say hello to #Griffining, the NFL's new #Tebowing

One year after our proud nation came to grips with #Tebowing, a new Internet meme is sweeping the land.

Griffining has entered the lexicon.

Spawned by Robert Griffin III's first NFL touchdown pass with the Washington Redskins -- an 88-yard strike to receiver Pierre Garcon -- Griffining plays off RG3 sitting planted on the ground, both arms held high to signal the score downfield.

Griffining already has been given the nod over "#Romoing" and "#Bradying," and the obvious Twitter account sprung up less than 24 hours after the Redskins knocked off the New Orleans Saints.

RG3 is aware of the craze and gave it his seal of approval on Monday.

This appears to be the only meme pulled from the glory of Week 1. #Weedening -- the act of vanishing for minutes at a time below a 100-yard American flag before your first day at work -- has yet to gain traction.
