Sam Acho, Chicago Bears agree on one-year deal

Sam Acho is sticking around in Chicago for at least one more season.

The Bears agreed to a one-year deal with the linebacker on Monday, the team announced.

Acho is a proven special teams contributor and adds depth to the outside linebacker position.

The University of Texas product recorded 60 tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in 15 games (seven starts) with Chicago last season. Acho spent his first four years in the league with the Arizona Cardinals, prior to joining the Bears. He amassed 96 tackles in his time Arizona.

Acho, 27, has played in 66 career games between Chicago and Arizona.
