Suffering ACL injuries in 2011 and 2012, the Detroit Lions wide receiver has yet to experience a full NFL offseason. After tearing his Achilles in 2013, the 26-year-old is again rehabbing.
However, this time around, Broyles said he's further along in the process.
"I haven't felt this healthy to do anything in the offseason," he said, per the Detroit Free Press. "I (couldn't do) a lot of pounding. But this offseason I feel like I'm going to be able to get a full offseason."
The former second-round pick is entering a pivotal season. He arrived in the NFL as a solid route-runner with good hands and was expected to be Calvin Johnson's sidekick. However, injuries have limited him to just 16 games and 30 catches in two seasons.
