Randy Moss headed to Fox television in undefined role

On Media Day for Super Bowl XLVII, I soaked up Randy Moss' session because he didn't seem likely to speak again on such a big stage until he arrived in Canton, Ohio. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Yes, Randy Moss is headed to television after realizing the San Francisco 49ers weren't going to call him for help on the field. ProFootballTalk.com first reported that Moss will work for Fox in a role that has yet to be defined.

Bill Belichick often called Moss the smartest wide receiver he's ever coached. Between Moss' southern drawl and frank opinions, he's always been a fun guy to listen to.

Like so many players who didn't enjoy speaking with the media, Moss now is joining the enemy. We only can assume Joe Buck does not see this decision as a disgusting act. Even Moss was happy to retweet a fan's joke about it.
