Call it a small, but dedicated, rebellion. WGBA-TV in Green Bay told NFL Network and NFL.com that six people were seen huddled outside the stadium. That number is expected to grow.
"I'm disappointed with the integrity of the game," Tyler Detke, 22, told the Green Bay Press Gazette on Tuesday morning.
Tuesday's band of Packers faithful are calling for an end to the NFL referee lockout. They were greeted with horn blasts and cheers from passing motorists, many on their way to work.
"We're trying to get the (original) refs back," Seth Wagnitz, 24, told the newspaper. "With the refs that we have now, they're not qualified to do the job like the other refs are. They're high school and college officials."
