NFL season opener in Denver delayed by lightning

After seven months of waiting for football, we had to wait a little bit more.

Thursday night's NFL season opener between the Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos was delayed because of a lightning storm near Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The game began at 9:14 p.m. ET.
