You have lineup questions, we have lineup answers -- at least we hope so. Start 'Em, Sit 'Em is here to help fantasy managers make difficult roster decisions. And you know what is a good move? Starting Jahmyr Gibbs. But that's too obvious, so you won't see such simple analysis here. Instead, we're exploring more debatable situations. And if you can't find a player you are looking for, please check out the latest NFL Fantasy lineup rankings.

Start 'Em
He's back. OK, if you watched last Sunday's game against Pittsburgh, you know he is still not fully back to looking like Lamar Jackson at the height of his powers. That said, he did throw for 219 yards, one touchdown and an interception, and ran for 43 yards and a score. That was his highest yardage total on the ground since returning from injury, as well as his first rushing TD since Week 1. He finished with 21 fantasy points. Now he gets the Bengals, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. They've yielded the second-most passing yards, most passing TDs and eighth-most rushing yards to the position. I know the Bengals held Lamar to his career-worst EPA just two weeks ago, but I am willing to bet on his talent in this matchup. Reminder that he did throw eight touchdown passes in two games -- while averaging 44 rush yards per outing -- against this defense last season.
Dart struggled fantasy-wise in his first game without Brian Daboll last week, scoring 13.56 fantasy points, his lowest total as a starter. I did like that he still ran and was adamant that he would not stop running in his postgame press conference. Dart has averaged 21.7 fantasy PPG as a starter. If he will still run, even if he is a bit more selective, he should continue to find fantasy success. Especially against the Commanders, who are top five in passing yards, touchdowns and fantasy PPG yielded to QBs. They just allowed J.J. McCarthy to throw three touchdown passes, score over 20 fantasy points and finish as a top-10 fantasy QB on the week. Play Dart this week.
Despite a fantastic fantasy matchup last week against Dallas, Goff was just solid. He threw for 309 yards, but only one touchdown. I still think he is in play this week, despite a tougher matchup. First, QB is thinning with a lot of starting options either hurt or trending in the wrong direction. Second, the Lions' backs are against the wall, so you can always expect them to be aggressive. Third, the Rams have been extremely tough against the run. And if you are still not sold, this could be a game where the Lions are chasing points. It is also indoors and in a building Goff knows well. Lastly, the Rams have allowed the fourth-most passing yards and touchdowns since Week 10. Goff is in play in what could be a scorefest.
Purdy has been solid since returning from injury a month ago. While he is capable of a real big performance every now and then, in most weeks, he provides a safe floor typically sitting somewhere around 17-19 fantasy points. That said, he could be set up this week for his best fantasy game of the season. First, not only has he had more time to get healthy, but so has his supporting cast. On top of that, he is facing the Titans, who got lit up by Shedeur Sanders last week. Tennessee is top six in pass yards and pass TDs allowed since Week 10. The Titans are top four in passer rating allowed both in that span and on the season. Purdy is in play this week.
STREAMING OPTIONS: Commanders' Marcus Mariota (at Giants); Vikings' J.J. McCarthy (at Cowboys); Browns' Shedeur Sanders (at Bears); Saints' Tyler Shough (vs. Panthers).
Sit 'Em
No quarterback has been featured in this article more than Love in 2025. While he's a "sit" this week, he was a "start" in each of the last two weeks -- and threw seven touchdown passes in that span. The yardage has not been there for Love, though, as he has thrown for fewer than 240 yards in five straight games. Pair that with the fact that he does not run much, and it makes him more touchdown-dependent. Now he faces Denver, which has allowed the third-fewest touchdown passes this season. The Broncos have yielded the sixth-fewest fantasy PPG to QBs. The one saving grace is Denver plays man at the third-highest rate in the league, and Love leads the NFL (by far) in EPA vs. man. Still, if you have the capability to get away, I would.
I am not sure anyone has pounded the table more for Jacoby Brissett in fantasy -- and real life -- than I have this season. He has averaged 20.5 fantasy PPG as the starter with over 18 in every start. But you see who is on the other side in this matchup, right? The Texans have allowed the fewest fantasy PPG and pass touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks, as well as the fifth-fewest passing yards. Houston is one of two games (along with the Charges) with more interceptions (15) than touchdown passes allowed (12). In the last three weeks, the Texans held Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes to single-digit fantasy points, not allowing a TD to either while picking them off five times. Lastly, the Texans do not score a lot of points, so banking on garbage time is not wise in this one. As much as Brissett has been my guy, I am looking to get away in this one.
I spent a lot of time over the last week or so talking about Caleb's floor being a week-losing figure. He has fewer than 15 fantasy points in three of his last four and five of the past eight. A low floor is clearly an issue with Williams. So is the fact that he ranks 33rd in completion percentage and 23rd in passer rating among qualified QBs. On top of that, he's facing the Browns, who have the second-highest sack rate in the NFL. They have allowed the fifth-fewest passing yards since Week 10. The Bears have made it clear: Their offense runs through the run game. In a game where they could be playing with a lead, I want no part of Williams and his very low floor.
The surging Texans are the talk of the NFL. That's due to their defense, as their offense does just enough each week. In his two games since returning from a concussion, Stroud has thrown one touchdown pass and averaged 10.8 fantasy PPG. He's topped 15 fantasy points just three times this season. Houston struggles mightily in the red zone. Plus, Arizona is just outside the bottom 12 in fantasy PPG allowed to QBs. Get away from Stroud moving forward.
