Mike Wallace (groin) questionable for Miami Dolphins

The Atlanta Falcons' passing attack hasn't been playing up to its full potential with Roddy White hobbled by a high-ankle sprain. Now that the Miami Dolphins are dealing with an injury to their own star receiver, the playing field has been evened for Sunday's showdown between the two teams.

Mike Wallace officially is "questionable" for Week 3 after being downgraded to a limited practice Friday.

Wallace aggravated a groin injury that kept him out of the first preseason game in August. The tweak presumably occurred in Wednesday's practice. He was added to the injury report as a full participant Thursday, which tells us very little because the Dolphinsdidn't actually practice that day.

The tea leaves suggest Wallace will give it a go Sunday, as the Miami Herald noted that he appeared to be moving without issue after practice. The question is to what degree the Dolphins' primary offensive playmaker will be limited against the Falcons.

We won't have a confident assessment of Wallace's status until pregame reports come out Sunday.
