Mike Jenkins has Jacksonville Jaguars' contract offer

Mike Jenkins has a contract offer from the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he plans to visit the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills before making a decision, a source with knowledge of his plans told NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. The former Dallas Cowboys cornerback ranked No. 73 on Gregg Rosenthal's Top 85 free agents.

Jenkins was the 25th overall pick by the Cowboys in the 2008 NFL Draft. He was a full-time starter from 2009 to 2011 and had a career-high five interceptions in 2009 before playing in the Pro Bowl that season. Jenkins started just two games for the Cowboys in 2012.

With the No. 22 pass defense, the Jaguars certainly could use corner help, but the Jags don't present a win-now situation. The Raiders certainly aren't there, either. The Bills have the most talent of the three teams.

The market hasn't been friendly for a lot of veterans this year.

UPDATE: Jenkins parted ways with his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, according to CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora.
