Michael Vick questionable for Eagles after full practice

The Philadelphia Eagles were tentatively planning to start Nick Foles at quarterback for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, even with Michael Vick's hamstring feeling better than expected throughout the week.

It's now evident that coach Chip Kelly won't make a decision on his Week 6 starter until close to game time.

Vick is listed as "questionable" for Sunday after being upgraded to a full practice Friday. The catch is that Friday practices are often light.

A source close to the situation told the Philadelphia Inquirer "it's doubtful" that Vick will play.

It appears the Eagles will play it safe to decrease the odds of a setback.

Look for Foles to be under center against a Bucs defense that ranks eighth in the NFL.

It's unwelcome news for fantasy owners of LeSean McCoy, as defenses have no respect for the quarterback-running back mesh point when the quarterback is no threat to run. The aggressiveness of the New York Giants' defensive front ratcheted up several notches once Vick left last week's game, holding McCoy to -2 yards on eight carries the rest of the way.

Gregg Rosenthal and I have set the over/under on McCoy's rushing yards at 65 this week. Gregg is taking the over. I'm taking the under.
