The free-agent safety told Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram he would love to play for the Cowboys, but he won't wait around if a better offer comes along.

The Cowboys have just $102,000 in cap space, but they desperately need help at safety. Huff would amount to a solid addition across from Barry Church, but the former Oakland Raiders defender will visit with the Baltimore Ravens this week and told Hill he plans to meet with the Green Bay Packers. The seven-year pro also has interest from the Tennessee Titans.

Durant, the former Detroit Lions linebacker, is expected to sign with the Cowboys when the money becomes available. That likely will hinge on pass rusher Anthony Spencer re-upping with the team, but Huff might be long gone by then. It sure sounds like he has interest -- and possibly an offer -- from another suitor.
