Michael Huff, Baltimore Ravens reportedly will meet

Whether Ed Reed sticks around, the Baltimore Ravens will field plenty of new faces in the secondary next season. One potential addition is Michael Huff.

Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun reported on Tuesday that the free-agent safety is scheduled to meet with the Ravens at some point over the next five days, according to league sources.

Huff, 30, was cut by the Oakland Raiders this month, but likely would start for the Ravens, especially if Reed chooses to sign with the Houston Texans. The Ravens also parted ways with safety Bernard Pollard, leaving a hole in the back end of the Ravens' defense. Reserve James Ihedigbo inked a one-year contract last week, but the Ravens are looking for veteran help.

The Green Bay Packers, the Dallas Cowboys and the Tennessee Titans have shown some interest in Huff. The Raiders saw enough from their former first-round pick, but Huff -- who started at both safety and corner last season -- shouldn't have trouble finding work.
