The Philadelphia Eagles locked up their final draft pick when they signed first-round selection Marcus Smith II on Monday.
As with all first-round picks, it's a four-year deal with a fifth-year team option.

The Eagles turned some heads when they selected the outside linebacker with the No. 26 overall pick. (NFL Media's Daniel Jeremiah was of the few -- if not only -- draft prognosticators to predict Smith would end up in the first round.)
The 6-foot-3 Smith is athletic with good pass-rush ability and a quick first step. Questions about his readiness to contribute this season caused fans to be less than thrilled when they heard Smith's name called.
Smith has begun OTAs working behind starting linebacker Connor Barwin learning the Eagles'Â "Jack" role (the more versatile of the two outside positions in the Eagles' 3-4 base defense) as well as some reps in the "Predator" role.
As with everything in Philly these days, Smith's future is in Chip Kelly's hands.
