At USC, Matt Barkley was a golden god.
At organized team activities with the Philadelphia Eagles, he's a step above a no-name. Which is to say, he has a name ... it just isn't his.
Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News explains:
LeSean McCoy has been calling Matt Barkley "Mark." Thought that was his name, until reporters corrected him. "He never said anything."

That is funny. Predictably, Barkley quickly was made aware of McCoy's confusion on Twitter. The rookie quarterback said McCoy was having some fun with the press.
Ha Shady has been callin me Matt since the beginning! Guess he knows how to work the media and make a headline..

Barkley was one of the most high-profile names to come out of the draft -- even if he ended staying on the board until the fourth round. We're sure McCoy knew Barkley's real name.
That doesn't mean he can't have some fun with the fresh meat.
