Kenny Britt questionable for Titans-Vikings game

The Tennessee Titans have grown accustomed to life without Kenny Britt in the lineup. This time around, his banged-up ankle is the culprit.

Harrison: Week 5 predictions

Elliot Harrison gives his picks for every Week 5 bout, including the 13th meeting between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. **More ...**

The wide receiver didn't step foot on the practice field Friday, and Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean doesn't expect him to suit up Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

Britt's listed as questionable with an ankle injury, and he looms as a game-time decision (further irritating fantasy owners worldwide). Britt hasn't practiced this week or played since going down in a Week 3 win over the Detroit Lions.

Rookie Kendall Wright and Nate Washington will start if Britt can't go, and both have shown some promise in his absence. Even with Britt in there, however, the Titans' 18th-ranked passing attack has been underwhelming, and we aren't excited about this offense.

If Britt doesn't play Sunday, his next chance would come next Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Titans might wait until then to test him against a live opponent.
